Trevor started his career in Canada working for Home Oil Co, Canadian Hunter, before starting an International career with Shell in the North Sea then joined BP and held various senior positions at BP including:
Vice President Activity Planning for BP Upstream group Worldwide,
Chirag Asset and development Manager in Azerbaijan overseeing over 150,000 bbls per day of Production and field development with managing over 140 people between staff& contractors,
Reservoir & Wells Manager, Chirag/Deep Water Gunashli Performance Unit, BP Azerbaijan (over 50 staff) overlooking development and update of depletion plans, reserves progression and management, reservoir studies, forecasting, new well planning and execution (wellsite geology, geo-steering, logging), Drilling Schedule optimization, near-term production forecasting and optimisation, surveillance, well integrity management, and production accounting.
He worked also as a subsurface Team leader in BP assets Egypt, Reservoir, operations department head in BP GUPCO (JV with EGPC) in Egypt.
Trevor is also an Advisor to several companies.
Trevor has world-class experience and brings to our clients his breaths of operating experience in a worldclass IOC on very complex and large producing assets (over 100,000 barrels a day) in challenging environments and has a track record of overseeing very large operations & developments.
Executive Director, New Ventures
Tamim has over 20 years of Oil & Gas international experience gained including 9 years spent at Shell International with a wide exposure. He started his career with Shell in the Corporate Business Planning department in Shell UK, Aberdeen, working on Shell’s North Sea Annual Business Plan. He then worked offshore on several North Sea Brent Platforms as Shell’s representative to the drilling contractor, overseeing well operations (PLT’s, Perforations, Drilling...). He then joined the subsurface Teams as a Petroleum engineer looking after North Sea Brent Reservoir Field Developments and field management. He then worked at shell headquarters in the Hague as a project manager in the central Technical consultancy Team of Shell at its headquarters in the Hague, with involvement in some of Shell’s key projects worked out of the Hague: Qatar Gas, Field Development Planning for Nigeria, etc.
He was overlooking METSCOoil’s advisory activities in Kurdistan, Iraq and Syria, assisting several of METSCOoil’s clients, including Maersk Oil, Oryx Petroleum, Tethys Petroleum, Nations Energy (Syria), Gulfsands (Syria), etc.
His expertise lies in opportunity generation and deal structuring, bringing parties together, creating value and win win scenarios for clients.
He holds a MSc in engineering from the Swiss Institute of technology in Lausanne and an Executive MBA from HEC in Lausanne, Switzerland.
Technical Director
Farid is a Managing Partner at METSCOoil, supervising asset valuation and fundraising processes. He has 20 years of experience with Anadarko, ENI, Delta Hydrocarbons, EnergyMetriKs and Ruspetro.
Farid started his career in US Onshore on the Midcontinent super-giant Hugoton gas field for Anadarko as a Reservoir Engineer. He then worked for ENI as a subsurface team leader for the Abo Field development in Nigeria, the Awa-Paloukou development in Congo and the Kizomba C complex offshore Angola. He was then appointed Head the Production Optimization Team of the second largest producing field in Kazakhstan, operated by a consortium led by ENI, achieving 10% of increase in hydrocarbon production during his tenure.
Farid went on to serve as a subsurface manager for Delta Hydrocarbons, a 1-billion USD investment fund based in Amsterdam focused on Upstream Oil and Gas Investments, where he led asset valuation efforts and coordinated due diligence teams for oil and gas fields located in Egypt, Tunisia and Argentina resulting in two acquisitions. He then founded EnergyMetriKs, an acquisition and divestiture advisory, where he arranged for a number of asset acquisitions for investment funds and operating oil companies. During his tenure at EnergyMetriKs, Farid served as a board member of Range Energy Resources, a Canadian listed company with assets in Kurdistan, and an advisor to the board of Venango Oil, a private operating company with assets in Nebraska as well as Argos-Sibinga, a Dutch company with assets in Tunisia.
Farid joined Ruspetro PLC, a London-listed operating company with producing assets in Western Siberia, as a Development Director, managing and supervising the delivery of 5 multi-fracked horizontal wells to the company production well stock, while being a key contributor to over 200 MMusd raised by Ruspetro with Russian banks.
He was rewarded by SPWLA with the best publication of the year award for a publication on near-wellbore invasion and electrical tool response.
Farid is a graduate of the University of Texas with a M.S. in Petroleum Engineering and of the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Paris, with a B.b.A. in Finance (1996). Farid is fluent in English, French, Arabic and Italian.
